In training still…

This clump of flowers is smaller than my thumb but I guess this is the best I could go with my camera.

The husband said for this one below I need to improve on the angle and the lighting, whatever that is.. :S

Oh by the way, Mum, if you happen to read this, Happy Mother’s Day. I know I said it on the phone already this morning but see, these flowers are for you I know.. I know.. cheapskate !

Someone wished me Happy Mother’s Day today for being a mummy to Milo and Seuss. I rode my yellow bike around the neighbourhood and burnt my calories a bit. And then attempted baking cupcakes again with my oven. This time round, I know how to play around the temperature setting of the oven so the Cookies and Cream cupcakes turned out prima ja !

Basically, that was my Sunday. And oh… I was also musing with the thought on how my mother used to blackmail me with the ultimate sumpahan ibu when I gave her troubles in my teenage years or bicker with her during my young adult days. She said what most Malay mothers remember by heart ‘ Nanti Kau!!! Dah dapat anak sendirik baru kau tau nanti !!!’

To all Malay mothers or otherwise who use that line, Happy Mother’s Day to you too… Mothers crack us up, don’t they?
